The heart behind it all - Meet Meg!
I was raised in a family where construction put food on the table. My dad spent decades in the asphalt business, working hard, coming home tired, and smelling like tar and freshly paved roads (a smell I love to this day). My parents taught me the value of hard work, and I remember my dad saying he’d never ask his crew to do something he wouldn’t do himself. He was always right there beside them, leading by example.
That's one of the reasons I enjoy working with construction business owners so much. I understand the pride that comes with building something, the responsibility of leading a crew, and the challenges that come with growing a business.
Construction owners wear countless hats. You’re focused on winning bids, managing projects, keeping clients happy, and making sure jobs stay on track. At the same time, you’re dealing with hiring challenges, employee turnover, leadership issues, and the day-to-day realities of managing people. That's a lot for any business owner to take on alone.
My approach is straightforward and simple: get to know your business, understand what's working, find what's getting in the way, and create solutions that make sense for your company. Every construction business is different, and I believe the best solutions are the ones that fit your people, your culture, and your goals.
After more than 20 years working in large global organizations, I saw firsthand how well‑intended people strategies often fell short in day‑to‑day practice. I wanted to know I was making a real difference and helping businesses succeed in meaningful ways. I wanted to provide practical, real-world support, not complicated systems or corporate jargon, just straightforward solutions that help business owners solve problems and achieve their goals.
